The proposals for the expansion of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus have been developed over a long period of time, and through full consultation with interested stakeholders and local residents. This has enabled a clear policy direction to emerge through the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Structure Plan (2003), the Cambridge Local Plan (2006), and the Southern Fringe Area Development Framework (2006).
